Art Print of Curtiss-Wright P-40 Warhawk

$20.00

This print is adapted from artwork for a t-shirt designed for the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum in upstate New York. The design, inspired by a WWII pilot training manual, almost makes the sound of a P-40 Warhawk visible as the P-40 powers up out of the military feel of an olive background, directly in front of the viewer. Behind the aircraft, a stripe of brick red lists it as simply "P-40" and identifies the union of the Curtiss aircraft company with the Wright engine that made this aircraft one of the best fighters of the WWII era.

See our blog post imagining flight in a P-40 simulator for more on the characteristics of the P-40 and what a good pilot could do with it.
